Park Place Quilt Sew Along

Learn to sew with curves using the Wonder Curve Ruler. We will meet on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month from 10 AM to 3 PM, beginning on January 9. The kit is $235, plus the ruler; meetings are free! You will finish this wonderful project with a 55" x 63" top (binding is included). We will share more details soon.

This is the class you want to get started. Learn how to use the tools, and you will be taught the techniques and skills to get the job done correctly. A great refresher class as well, if it's been a while. You will learn 8 basic blocks, plus inner and outer borders and the cutting and sewing techniques required to assemble a quilt.

Come learn how to transform a book into art! It's one of those crafts that looks much harder than it actually is. We will be making this pretty butterfly project. Nicole Lopez will teach you how to turn this into a great gift for someone special--or to just keep for yourself. Book and other supplies provided.

This is a refresher class to assist if you've already made or need assistance with your current unfinished Boxy Tote project. Come in on any of the scheduled and Terry will provide instruction at whatever stage you are on. Cost for each session is $20.

The follow up class to the beginning class. Learn about battings, how to make your "sandwich" of quilt top, batting and backing. Pinning, quilting, trimming and binding are also covered. The quilt top to be done is the one from the beginning quilting class.

Want to learn the basics on machine quilting? Not all of it has to be done on a long arm machine. Suzie shows you how to accomplish wonderful results on your home machine. It's a great class to learn the basics and get off and running on your own quilting.

This camp is for kids/adults ages 10 years and older wanting to learn how to sew. Students will meet daily from 9:30 - 12:30. Sewing machines and some fabric will be provided.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to miter corners? Now is your chance. April Martin will be teaching how to calculate and sew borders with mitered corners.

For those who attended the introductory meeting and sign-up session on January 31, 2026, we will reveal of Blocks 1 and 2 on February 21, followed by Blocks 3 and 4 on March 21, culminating in a finishing session on April 11. Under the guidance of Linda Del Real and Myra Forbin, participants will have the opportunity to connect with fellow quilting enthusiasts. The cost to join this adventure is just $30, and we can't wait to share more details with you soon!

A fun, hands-on maintenance class for your Singer Featherweight machine provided by Twice Nice Sewing Machine Restorations from Antioch, CA.. You will learn to oil and lubricate your machine, change and adjust your belt, set the bobbin tension, clear thread jams and other problem solving techniques. You will receive a folder to take home that includes color photos of all the machine oil and lubrication points. You must bring your machine and power cord.
