Fabric Collage

Use one of Laura Heine patterns available for purchase or take your favorite clip art or coloring book picture and turn it into a fabric collage wall hanging. This is a 2-session class and requires homework in between sessions!

Beginning Quilting

This is the class you want to get started. Learn how to use the tools, and you will be taught the techniques and skills to get the job done correctly. A great refresher class as well, if it's been a while. You will learn 8 basic blocks, plus inner and outer borders and the cutting and sewing techniques required to assemble a quilt.

Block of the Month sponsored by Kim Miks of Tucker University. 12-month program with monthly meetings starting January 21, 2023. A technique building quilt with design options to learn how to use the Studio 180 Tools.

This is a 2-session class for Beginner English Paper Piecing (EPP). We will cover glue basting, using templates, hand stitching and fussy cutting. You will use your new skills to begin your EPP sewing journey with ideas for many projects. Paper templates will be provided.

The follow up class to the beginning class. Learn about battings, how to make your "sandwich" of quilt top, batting and backing. Pinning, quilting, trimming and binding are also covered. The quilt top to be done is the one from the beginning quilting class.

This camp is for kids age 10 years old and up who want to learn to sew. Kids will meet daily from 9:30 - 12:30. Sewing machines and some fabric will be provided. Projects include pillow case, hair scrunchies & quilted trivet.

A fun, hands-on maintenance class for your Singer Featherweight machine provided by Twice Nice Sewing Machine Restorations from Antioch, CA.. You will learn to oil and lubricate your machine, change and adjust your belt, set the bobbin tension, clear thread jams and other problem solving techniques. You will receive a folder to take home that includes color photos of all the machine oil and lubrication points. You must bring your machine and power cord.
