High Sierra held it's 4th Tahoe Retreat the weekend of PIQF (Friday through Monday am). Linda and Lyn did all the cooking for the group. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and Sunday we even got some thunder and lightning. We worked on more Freddie Moran Style blocks. Check out the stash of fabric Barb brought, just in case she ran out, and she didn't bring the most, her sister Tammy did!!! Saturday morning was just like the beginning of "The Great Race" as after breakfast everyone raced to their cars and headed out to the local quilt shops and some as far away as Gardnerville and Carson City. Everyone had a great time, and we didn't see any bears.

Next year, we have scheduled 2 retreats (spring and fall). The spring retreat is April 30 through May 3, and the fall is October 15 through 18. Call the shop for details.
