Hi Everyone. Our grand Reopening was a great success.

On to the new fabrics - our spring fabrics are coming in daily (I know we haven't had winter yet!!) but you have to keep a season ahead if you want those projects ready for the right season.





Store-wise, we have all been busy here with brand new sample quilt projects to showcase. Here is my first paper piecing project which is currently displayed in the store's window. It took a 1st place and a Best Machine Quilting in the El Dorado County Fair. Kathy Trumbauer did the quilting.

I really enjoyed putting this one together, it looks real involved, but actually isn't that tough. It was fun getting the blocks done and seeing it "grow". Our ace instructor, Suzie, gave me her Seal of Approval with a "two thumbs up". Thanks Suzie.

Stop by and check out our new fabrics. We're on first name basis with the UPS guy as new items are coming in daily. One of our latest is The Cat in the Hat flannel -- a really fun collection for a little one's quilt.
