Welcome to High Sierra Quilters. We are located at 1263 Broadway in Placerville, CA across from Save Mart Grocery Store and Wells Fargo Bank. You can take the Broadway or Schnell School exit off Highway 50. High Sierra Quilters is owned by Debbie Cognata. The Store has been operating in Placerville for over twelve years, serving all your quilting and sewing needs. We carry a great selection of fabric, notions, books, and patterns. We also offer quilting and sewing classes for a variety of skill levels. Our color wall features blender fabrics you need to complete your project(s). We will also continue to carry a large collection of flannel fabrics ad Fireside from Moda which is a cross between flannel and Minky. Makes a great backing for your quilts. We have recently expanded the shop to include the space next door, doubling our square footage! I the new space we have 2 large classrooms for both classes and group meetings, an embroidery machine to do quilt labels, and a long arm quilting machine to do Edge to Edge quilting! All very exciting new changes! We are very fortunate to be doing so well, we owe it to the support of our great community. Thank you all so much!!
